Upon my arrival in Paige, I spoke with the customer about the concerns they were having with the mini split system. I performed a diagnostics on the system and found that the refrigerant circulation pumping system is faulted. When the system powers up it has a really hard rattle to the refrigerant circulation system indicating that there are components inside the case that have come apart. This outdoor condensing system is pretty aged and the indoor air handler is only 2 years old. Upon my arrival I spoke with the customer about the concerns they had with the indoor air movement system not shutting off. I performed a diagnostics and found that one of the sequencers was staying closed calling for the heat to stay on. This then sent voltage to the air movement system to come on to prevent from burning the heat strips up. I spoke with the customer about his different options for repair and he chose to go with HD5C. I performed the repair and replaced both sequencers inside the air handler, redid wire terminals, moved the speed tap from high to medium and tested the system. Found that everything is operating properly at this time. Customer asked what we could do about the whistling noise coming from the return. I adjusted the speed tap to low and the noise was still the so I put it back to medium. Customer plans to cut another return grill into the wall to allow more air flow.
