Job Locations and Reviews
Upon my arrival I looked into the concerns the customer was having with the HVAC system freezing at the condenser. I spoke to the customer over the phone on how of this has happened and he stated it’s happened a few times the last month or two. When I was performing the diagnostics the system was operating properly, had good air flow and the pressures were within manufacture specifications. With what the customer was explained it leads me to believe that the main control board on the furnace is faulted sending a call for cool to the condenser but not closing the relay for the air movement system. Will be getting part information on the main control board and scheduling a return to perform the repair.
Upon my arrival in Red Rock I found that the water removal system was very clogged. I checked further into the system and found that heat transfer media system and the return air are both very dirty. I spoke with the customer about her different options for repair and she would like them emailed over so she can review them and also wants the finance link emailed as well. I also spoke with the customer about our maintenance program. She will be working on filling out the financing for her repair this evening and I will follow up tomorrow morning.
Today, I arrived in Red Rock, TX and met with the client. When I evaluated the HVAC system, I discovered that the indoor heat exchanger is leaking refrigerant. Moving forward, the customer opted for a repair, scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. The customer paid the service fee along with a 10% deposit. They were informed that we will provide a call mid-morning with an expected arrival time for the repair.
Upon my arrival in Red Rock I spoke with the customer about what all I would be doing on the maintenance today. At the indoor air handler I found that the heat transfer media coil is dirty, the air movement system is dirty, the water removal system has back fall causing it to not drain properly and the auxiliary heating system is very rusted on the electrical components and is getting moisture on it due to the system being dirty and building up a significant amount of condensation inside the air handler. I then moved the outdoor condenser and checked all of its operations. Everything is operating properly at this time. I spoke with the customer about the cleanings that are recommended and the what I found on the auxiliary heating system. I explained to the customer that the condensation is due to how dirty the system is and this caused the auxiliary heating system to gather moisture and build rust.
Upon my arrival in Red Rock I performed the cooling evaluation, during the evaluation I found that the indoor voltage enhancement system was low, the outdoor voltage enhancement was bad, and the voltage distribution system was chard/pitted. I spoke with the customer and went over his different options for repair. He chose to go with HN13E and I informed him that I could take the one year safety inspection and replace it with the indoor voltage enhancement system repair. On the outdoor condenser I replaced the voltage enhancement systems on both the exhaust removal system and the refrigerant circulation system, installed new voltage distribution system, new performance enhancement system, redid all wire terminals, chemically washed the coil, tested the system and found it to be operating properly at this time. I moved to the indoor system and replaced the voltage enhancement system and tested the system again. System is operating properly at this time.
Performed the cooling evaluation in Paige and found everything operating properly at this time. Customer would like to have his evaluations moved to where he is getting the heating in November and the cooling in April. He understands he will have to renew earlier then he normally does to get the evaluations moved around.
Upon my arrival in Red Rock I found that the exhaust removal system is faulted over amping. System is an old R22 system I recommended the customer not put to much money into the older system and consider upgrading the equipment with something newer and with a warranty. Customer would like for a comfort specialist to come out on Monday and quote a new system. Will need to bring some window units when we come out to give the quotes. System is completely down but customer does not want to sink any money into it given its age. I tried cooling the exhaust removal system down with a water hose so the could try to keep cool over the weekend but the motor is to far gone.
WO-TNFR346465 Upon my arrival in Red Rock I cleaned the air movement system, the heat transfer media and the out door condenser. Checked operations after work and system is working good at this time.

Upon my arrival in Red Rock I found that the water removal system was backed up and over flowed into the emergency drain pan. I found that the coil is really dirty and the system did not have a float safety switch on the secondary drain. I spoke with the customer about my recommendations on a cleaning and adding a secondary float saftey switch. She chose to go with the HK2E. While I was here I cleared the drain line, poured drain treatment down the drain, installed a float switch, removed the water from the emergency drain pan, sealed where the refrigerant lines come into the system, sealed where the filter base is that is not in use, redid wire terminals and tested to make sure the site was operating. Found it to be operating properly at this time. When we return we will need to complete the cleaning portion of the repair and check the pressures.
Upon my arrival I found the voltage distribution system was chard and pitted. It was staying in contact at the outdoor system causing it to continuously run with no call for cooling. Spoke with the customer about repairs and he chose HD3A. Performed the repair and found everything operating properly at this time. There is still a chance that the ecobee thermostat could be faulted but with everything operating properly it makes it difficult to diagnose. I let the customer know that if the system does it again to turn the outdoor condenser off and leave the thermostat in its normal operation for a better diagnosis. Customer also wants quotes for surge protection emailed over so he can send them to the insurance company to get them installed.
Upon arrival in Red Rock I recovered all refrigerant, pulled the heat transfer media coil and the air movement system. Chemically washed both components and reinstalled them. Installed new filter dryer, purge and pressure tested with nitrogen, brought down to a proper vacuum, recharged with clean refrigerant and tested the system. Sprayed the indoor coil down with bio protect. Cleared the drain line and added drain pan treatment. Chemically cleaned the outdoor condenser. Found everything operating properly at this time. The cage for the indoor air movement system is rusty and recommended replacement. Customer is going to attempt to find his own the replace it.

Spoke with the customer about their different options for cleanings and they chose to go with HK12D. They request that I am the one that comes back and are willing to go out until I am the one that returns. This will take 2 techs half a day to complete. Will get a material list put together later.
Upon my arrival in Red Rock, I found that the indoor A/C system was staying ramped down very low on the blower motor and causing the outdoor system to freeze and shut down. After a series of diagnostics and speaking with Daryl then tech support. I found that the system was not wired properly. The Y1 wire was wired to Y1 on the board when it needed to be wired into Y/Y2 since the system is a single stage and not a 2 stage.
Upon my arrival in Red Rock, I performed the A/C cooling evaluation and found everything operating properly at this time.
