Job Locations and Reviews
Today I arrived in Rosanky. I evaluated the hvac system, I verified the heating system is operational and is safe. When evaluating performance the system only has a temp difference of 9 degrees I further found that the auxiliary heating system has 1/3 of the section had. I recommended either replacement of the auxiliary heating system or consult on upgraded unit. Upon departure system is left in heating mode set for 73 currently 77 inside.
Upon my arrival in Rosanky I performed the heating evaluation on the heat pump system. I found everything at the air handler operating properly. Moving to the outdoor condenser I found the voltage distribution system is getting chard/pitted. I spoke with the customer about their different options for repair and they would like them emailed over so they can talk it over. I also spoke with the customer about how his HVAC system performed this past summer given its age. They said they didn’t notice any issues with the system and that everything cooled great. I did go over the newer equipment that is coming out and the benefits a newer system has. The customer didn’t want to move forward with anything on that at this time but will keep it in mind when a major repair presents itself with the system.
Performed the cooling evaluation in Rosanky on both system. System number 2 the Reme halo was not coming on. I found that the voltage conversion system was faulted. I replaced the voltage conversion system under the warranty from when the Reme halo was installed since it was the one that came with the Reme halo. Turned the system on and found it working properly. I found that both systems are low on refrigerant indicating a leak on the system. I spoke with the customers about my findings and recommended having a comfort specialist come out and quote a system replacement on both units. They would like an appointment set up for the comfort specialist to come out and go over the quotes. When the comfort specialist comes out they are going to ask about having the 2 systems combined into 1.

The air flow is so much you can hear it, customer wants an added to the stair case since it get hot there this would help with the noise in the bed room.

Put my inline fuse popper on the system and found that the voltage conversion system was faulted, spoke with the customer about doing the repair in order to trace down where the short is coming from that faulted the transformer. Found that one of the thermostat stat wires was shorted causing the system to malfunction. After fixing the short I tested pressures and found that the system was extremely low on R22 refrigerant. I turned the condenser off at the breaker and left the air handler on so the fan can still run to at least move air. Spoke with the customer about the leak and he would like to have quotes sent over to replace the master bedroom system then would also like a quote put together to replace both systems.
