Today I arrived in Smithville and completed the fall heating evaluation. I began by verifying system is safely operating and it’s performing very well. Upon my arrival in Smithville I performed the fall evaluation on one furnace system and one mini split. Found everything operating properly on the mini split system. On the furnace system I found the combustion exhaust system is dripping condensation from the pvc pipe this needs to be glued back together to prevent the condensation to continue dripping. Found everything else on the furnace operating properly at this time.

Today I arrived in Smithville and completed the heating evaluation. I treated the water removal system inside, washed outdoor unit using water and treated electrical panel. I verified system performance and that it’s safely operating at this time. Upon completion left system operating in heating mode set for 67 currently 72 inside.

Today I arrived in Smithville and gained access to building via master lock outside the main entrance using the code provided. I completed the heating evaluation today of both hvac systems. I found the units are safely operating and are clean, I noticed the main unit for the front of the building (unit 1) is not operating both stages of heating appropriately. I found the comfort control is what’s not allowing the heating system to be controlled properly, have left Carrie a voicemail. System #2 I found the operating amps for the refrigerant circulation pumping system to be slightly higher then normal. I spoke with the customer about my concerns and she would like the options emailed over so she can see if this is something she wants to take of now or if she will give it a little time to see how the system continues to operate. Left both systems operating in heat and renewed both service agreements.

Today I arrived in Smithville and met with the homeowner. His complaint was that the heating system stays on no matter if the thermostat is calling for it or not. Been using the breaker to turn it off and back on when needed. I verified concern, I then found that there were multiple burnt wires, heating system controls were all stuck and not disengaging. With customer payment and approval I required the heating control system and replaced multiple heating controls, I also installed new voltage conversion system, installed inline fuse and replaced the air movement voltage enhancement system. Upon completion I vacuumed and cleaned the area, I also cleaned out inside of the control system cabinet and got rid of all the dog and cat hair. I then tested repairs and verified all heating stages are working safely and performing very well. Upon departure I left system at 72 in heat, it’s currently reading 72.

Today Mike and I arrived in Smithville and completed the fall evaluation. We verified all units are operating safely and they are performing well. We treated all the indoor water removal systems, we also washed and treated the outdoor unit using water. Customer renewed plan today, also spoke about cleaning out the entry way indoor unit which he is most likely to have done on his spring evaluation. Upon departure systems were all left in heating set for 69.

I replaced the defrost control system and installed a new defrost control sensor on the outdoor unit that provides heat/cool for the upstairs. After replacement I tested unit operations and verified system defrost is successful. Upon departure left system operating in the home schedule set at 64 in heat currently it’s 64 inside.

Today I arrived in Smithville and met with the homeowner. C/s the thermostat notified them the auxiliary heat has been on for 3 hours, they found the outdoor unit was iced over. I investigated customers concern and began testing outdoor unit, I found that the outdoor defrost control system is faulted. With customers payment and approval i have placed parts on order. When we receive parts the dispatch team will reach out to schedule repair. Upon departure left system operating in auxiliary heat mode, set for 66 currently 71.

Upon my arrival in Smithville I performed a heat evaluation on the heat pump system. I found the system is operating properly at this time. During the evaluation I noticed that there is bacterial build up inside the air handler and the return going to the upstairs is not sealed properly. Customer did not think the had a filter upstairs. I found there is a filter upstairs and it has never been changed. After the evaluation was complete I spoke with the customer about Reme halo options and the benefits each option offered. They chose to go with HH14D. I collected 10% down today and will collect the rest upon completion of the repair.

Upon my arrival in Smithville, I performed a heat evaluation on the heat pump system. During the evaluation I found that the electrical control system was on bringing on 2 out of the 3 heat strips for auxiliary heating. Will have the options emailed over to the customer and follow up about repairs. I left a voicemail informing the customer of what i had found. I did find everything else on the system performing well at this time.

I flushed and treated the water removal system today, and I washed the outdoor unit. I made customer aware of the leaky exhaust removal system, customer wants to let it ride till it gives out. Upon my arrival in Smithville I performed a heat evaluation on 3 systems. The upstairs straight electric heat, straight cool I found operating properly. The outdoor condenser is 20+ years old and customer would like to look at replacing it. The downstairs package furnace unit I found was never properly converted for propane and has built a significant amount of rust around the combustion burner assembly. The guest house/garage unit I found is operating properly at this time. Spoke with the customer about repairs on the downstairs system and she chose to go with HM24E. Customer would also like a consultation set up for the replacement of the condenser for the upstairs system.

Today I arrived in Smithville. Customer concern that the system in the summer would not necessarily cool the house below 75 and now in the winter it’s also short cycling. I investigated customers concerns and found that the refrigerant pressure control valve has failed causing the concerns. With customers payment of 10% and approval we have processed the warranty parts order. When we receive the warranty parts we will call customer to schedule the repair. Upon departure left the disconnect off at outside unit, made customers aware of the Em Heat function on the thermostat.

Upon my arrival in Smithville I found that the voltage distribution system was faulted causing the outdoor unit to not operate. I spoke with the customer about repair options. Customer approved repairs, I performed the repair and then performed the heat evaluation. Found that everything is operating properly at this time.

Today I arrived in Smithville and met with homeowners. Concerns of having start assist installed, was recommended by electrician who installed generator connection. I completed the fall evaluation today I verified system is performing well and is safely doing so. I flushed and treated the water removal system, I also washed and shined the outdoor system, I mentioned to customer the start kit would not be needed for this unit specifically but did warn of using the electrical heating system. Upon departure I left the system set to off mode currently 71 inside.

Upon my arrival in Smithville I performed heat evaluations on 2 split heat pump systems and 1 mini split heat pump system. The mini split in the bunk house and the split system in the guest house are both operating properly at this time. While performing the heat evaluation on the main house I found that the auxiliary heat was never set up. I found how to correct the issue with the auxiliary heating and was able to set the thermostat up to allow the option for emergency heat. While performing the evaluation I found the indoor air movement system to be over amping, the heat transfer media coil and air movement system dirty and the outdoor exhaust removal system over amping. I spoke with the customer about his different options for repairs. He would like Daryl to come out and quote what it would like to replace the system before he chooses any repair options. Will need to reach out and set up a consultation for the main house.

Today I arrived in Smithville and I completed the heating evaluation today. I verified system gas pressure I also verified system is safe during heating operation. Afterwards I verified system performance and I also cleaned the flame safety systems today. Upon departure left system in heating mode set for 72 currently 73 inside.

While in attic I cleaned the flame safety system and flushed the water removal system. I noticed the rubber boot for the flue had droplets of condensation so I inspected and found a small amount of gunk collected within it. I changed customers filter today provided by the customer, upon departure left system in heating set to 69 currently 73 inside.

Today I arrived in Smithville. I completed the heating evaluation today. I cleaned the flame safety system while onsite I also verified home is safe during heating operation with no c.o detected. System performance is well, customer had no complaints today. Upon departure left system in heating mode set for 70 currently 70 inside.
