Since we opened our doors in 1984, Centex Air & Heat has proudly served the people of Bastrop County. Our business is based on providing honest and affordable HVAC service to our customers. In the spirit of doing good work for our clients, it is important for us to also do good work outside of the job.

Bastrop Chamber of Commerce
The Bastrop Chamber of Commerce is an organization with a mission to support local businesses in the area and bolster the local economy. Members consist primarily of large and small businesses in the Bastrop area. The Chamber also includes individuals from the community that, although they don’t own, operate or work at a member business, have a strong interest in the Chamber of Commerce’s mission. Centex Air & Heat is a proud member and Pacesetter Investor of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce and shares its goal of backing local businesses and individuals. Down Home Ranch
The Down Home Ranch is a nonprofit working farm community located in Elgin, TX. Their mission is to empower the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through social, educational, residential and vocational opportunities. This organization is close to our hearts at Centex Air & Heat and we are honored to partner with them through donations and charitable events. Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry
The Bastrop Food Pantry was established in 1987 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the emergency food needs of Bastrop County residents. It is estimated that a minimum of 14.4% of residents right here in this county are food insecure, which means they lack reliable access to a sufficient amount of food. The Food Pantry is a Hunger Buster food support center, which means they respond immediately to individuals and families in a food crisis with a "no-wait, no red-tape" attitude. Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Centex Air & Heat strives to not only get new customers but earn them for life. On Mother’s Day weekend, 2020, Centex Air & Heat gifted our long-time client and neighbor, Ms. Adell, a brand new Carrier Ductless AC and Heating system. Owner Gene Rampy and all of our CMI technicians volunteered their time and talents to installing the new system. We are thankful for Ms. Adell’s business for years and feel grateful to be able to give her a new HVAC.
